Jayne has spent over 30 years in dentistry as a practice owner, a qualified branding and business consultant, and one of the few truly independent voices in the industry.
Her approach isn’t shaped by bias, plan providential allegiance, or repackaged theory. It’s built on a clear understanding of what Principals face when transitioning from NHS to private practice.
The Jayne Sproson Method was born out of this experience. It was developed to give principals a safer path to private success.
Jayne’s strength lies in her ability to cut through the complexity. Her goals always remain aligned with yours.

Jonathan Sproson
Behind every NHS to private practice transition is a series of high-stakes decisions – clinical, financial, and operational.
With over 30 years of experience as a practising clinician and former Principal, Jon has first-hand experience running a thriving private practice in a very different landscape, where successful NHS practices were the norm.
Today’s environment is very different. With the landscape of increased competition and complexity, it isn’t easy to know what decisions to prioritise.
Jon leads the modelling of your financial options. He will assess the viability of your chosen path, forecasting income replacement, and mapping the clinical resources needed to deliver it.
He helps you understand not only whether your plan will work on paper but also what it will take to make it work in practice.

Meet Your Associate Head of Client Growth:
Janice Charlton
Janice brings over 35 years of experience in dentistry, combining clinical expertise with business acumen and a passion for practice growth. A qualified Dental Therapist and former practice owner, she has experienced the challenges of transitioning from NHS to private care and understands the fears and opportunities this journey presents.
Her career includes senior roles with leading plan providers, giving her a strong foundation in membership modelling. Today, working with The Jayne Sproson Consultancy, Janice goes far beyond what providers can offer. She plays a pivotal role in our signature Discover–Develop–Deliver (DDD) programme, guiding practices through every stage:
